Description
These laser safety half lenses are intended to be used with show laser systems to increase the divergence of the laser beam. The irradiation intensity of the retina gets reduced by widening the beam in a way that the pupil of the eye cuts off a bigger amount of the laser immission, thus increasing safety. There are different diopters in this set to adapt the divergence increase to the specific use scenario.
By using a half lens it is possible to maintain full laser power and accuracy above the lens and just increase the divergence in the lower part, where e.g. audience scanning / audience irradiation is intended and the MPE (Maximum permissible Exposure) must be maintained.
The lenses are designed to fit into standard lens mounts for show laser systems. Please find compatible mounts in the corresponding category and below.
